Aluminium Oxide
An iron-free reusable abrasive with high surface performance.
This iron-free, reusable abrasive is hard and tough. Its composition of aluminium oxide and a small amount of titanium oxide makes it particularly stable.
The sharp-edged aluminium oxide is particularly suitable for use on extremely hard workpieces. It is also very suitable for wear protection or in the production of hard concrete.
In general, aluminium oxide has a very wide range of applications. The only exceptions are stainless steels due to their low iron content, which could have a magnetic effect.
